I was invited to an elementary school as a guest teacher. It was an event for promoting international understanding. Children meet people from other part of the world and learn about other cultures. It was lots of fun.

I was offered a full time job which I accepted (one year not tenure track but full time/part time for one year) as a community college ESL credit teacher at Imperial Valley College. I start there in August; the temperature ought to be about 115 Fahrenheit. Send me cool thoughts!
