1. What is BeachBoard?
A wonderful explanation from the BeachBoard support site offers this:
BeachBoard, CSULB's e-learning environment, provides students with the opportunity to stay connected with their instructors and classmates. BeachBoard may be a component of some or all of a student's courses as either a supplement to the course, as an element of a hybrid course or as structure for a completely online course. As a Supplement to the course, BeachBoard may provide a method of receiving class material, and checking grades, as well as other features. In a Hybrid Course, a combination of a traditional face-to-face class and online class, BeachBoard may also provide online quizzes, a virtual chatroom and discussion boards. In a completely Online Course, BeachBoard will serve as the method for all of the course's faculty-student interactions.
More and more instructors from our department are creating course teaching methods and material that utilizes BeachBoard's strongest benefits. You can learn more facts about, and even view tutorials on, BeachBoard by visiting the support site: http://bbsupport.csulb.edu.
2. What is a CSULB Internet Account?
As a member of the university community you can receive the following benefits from CSULB's "Network Services" division: an email address and account; some hard disk space and URL for your own web pages; Internet Service Provider services (Dial-up) free of charge [Long distance charges still apply, if you don't dial in from an area that is local to the university campus.].

3. Where are the KPE offices?

4. Does the KPE department have a computer lab available to students?
Yes, the department has several computers that students can use, including a lab dedicated to student use during open lab hours and through course instruction. Call the department office for details.
5. Can I forward my CSULB email to my favorite email address?
Yes, by using an online tool provided by Network Services (the same group that provides the CSULB Internet Account services. This tool is found at http://www.csulb.edu/vacation
