CSULB Student Interviews Pulitzer Winner

Journalism student Shannon Poe scored an interview with Pulitzer-winning author Ray Bradbury, in which the legendary author of "Fahrenheit 451," among other classics, discusses the upcoming closure of used bookstore "Acres of Books," a downtown Long Beach landmark.

Daily 49er Online Draws National Attention

Daily49er.com recently attracted national attention by becoming the first university in the nation to launch using College Publisher 5.0. CP 5.0 is a publishing platform and content management system used by more than 500 online college news publications in the country.

Multimedia Crash Course

The CSULB Department of Journalism hosted its first of many professional workshops in June 2008 featuring training in multimedia reporting.
