Gustave Reininger created Crime Story, an NBC prime time drama that was a game changer in television. He has contributed to television shows such as Miami Vice, Robbery Homicide and others. He has written 15 pilot scripts and is credited on over 60 television episodes. Collaborating with Syndey Pollack, Michael Mann, Penny Marshall, Paul Verhoeven and many other A-list directors, Reininger fashioned original source material into successful dramas. Most recently, Reininger just finished Corso: the Last Beat chronicling Gregory Corso, the most interesting of the inner circle of "The Beats," with Kerouac, Ginsberg and Burroughs, featuring Ethan Hawke and Patty Smith. He is now undertaking a production on the 1961 U. S. invasion of Cuba, at the Bay of Pigs. Reininger started his career as an international investment banker with J.P. Morgan (originally Chemical Bank) and focused on film finance Internationally.
