Filmmaker Kent Hayward teaches film at California State University Long Beach, Loyola Marymount University, and El Camino College. He also edits documentaries, television shows, and 3-D movies.

After earning his MFA in film/video production at the California Institute of the Arts, Mr. Hayward began working in the film industry in visual effects and editorial on blockbusters like The Dark Knight, Terminator 3 and 3-D IMAX movies like James Cameron's Aliens of the Deep. His company, Chops, produces creative content for clients including Radio City Music Hall and Random House. Over the past four years, Mr. Hayward has curated outdoor summer film screenings for the LA Drive-In Movie Series and the Venice Canals Row-In Movie Series.

In addition to screening his most recent film Sunset to Sunset at over two dozen film festivals, he is penning a screenplay about real estate and fundraising for a new documentary.
