Do I need to make an Advising Session Appointment?

Yes, for students NOT enrolled in ENGR 102.

Advising Session Schedule

  • Students enrolled in ENGR 102 will be advised by the advising staff of the Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) as part of an in-class activity during the 4th week of the semester (2/13-2/17).  To facilitate this advising activity, students must locate the Mandatory Advising Guidelines via ENGR 102’s BeachBoard  “Course Documents” site and follow the instructions listed.
  • Students enrolled in ENGR 101 will receive a 30-minute advising presentation by academic advisors from the ESSC during the 5th week of the semester.  Students will then schedule an individualized advising appointment with the ESSC advising staff.
  • Students not enrolled in ENGR 101 or ENGR 102 must schedule an individualized advising appointment by visiting the ESSC Advising Office, located in EN2-304 or by emailing coe-ftf@csulb.edu.  Be sure to include the following information:  full name, CSULB ID#, intended major and 3 desired dates and times for the advising appointment.
