Applicant Self-Service

Using Applicant Self-Service

CSULB applicants can check the current status of their admission application online.

Just click on the link below to be directed to the CSULB Applicant Self Service Page where applicants will be able to review:

  • The current status of your admission application
  • Documents that may be needed to complete your file
  • Financial Aid Information
  • Contact Information currently on file

To use applicant self-service you will need your campus ID number (your 9 digit campus identification number can be found in the upper right corner of your application acknowledgement letter or email).  If you cannot locate your campus ID number, you will be given the opportunity to use your Social Security number instead.

Note: If you have already been admitted, you will be directed to the MyCSULB web portal, or you can go directly to MyCSULB right now, which has information for admitted and current CSULB students.

Applicant Email Address Update

CSULB applicants are required to maintain a current email address on file with the university and to check their email regularly, as the university uses email as the official means of communication. Applicants who have not yet been notified that they have access to MyCSULB can update the email address that the university uses for official communications by clicking on the link below:

Note: If you have already been admitted or are a current student, you should update your email address via MyCSULB.
