Assistant Professor Heather Barker is Director of ROAM Studio, which offers design and consulting services and provides a forum for conceptual and theoretical work. She has realized a wide range of projects in the
US and Europe. Throughout her practice and academic work Ms. Barker explores issues of system and sustainability in design, architecture, urbanism, and strategy. Ms. Barker has taught and been a visiting
critic at the Los Angeles Institute of Architecture and Design (LAIAD) since 2002 and a regular lecturer in architecture and design at Universities in Munich, Germany since 2004.
