•Graduates possess an understanding of two and three-dimensional design.

•Graduates have knowledge of design principles in residential and commercial projects.

•Graduates possess an understanding in human factors: anthropometrics, ergonomics and proxemics.

•Graduates have the ability to communicate concepts to designers, clients and potential employers.

•Graduates possess an understanding of construction, building systems and the knowledge of legal codes related to construction.

•Graduates process the knowledge of materials, basic understanding of manufacturing process, lighting systems and sustainable design resources as they relate to interior architecture.

•Graduates have knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D StudioMAX, and other appropriate two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphic software.

•Graduates have a knowledge of the history of design, an understanding of the governmental processes, and exposure to the blending of business components with the creative processes.
