Congratulations to Professor Keith Johnson and his cast, Bethany Feil, Saori Kawashima, Joey Navarrete, and Ryan Oatman, for the honor of being chosen to perform Johnson’s Dreaming Op. 15 No. 3 at the National College Dance Festival at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC on May 27. Dreaming was chosen by the adjudicators of the American College Dance Festival Association’s Baja Conference in March to represent our region at the national festival alongside Johnson’s Unscripted/Riptide Into Me, a dance he staged on dancers at Loyola Marymount University. This is the first time in ACDFA history that work by the same choreographer was chosen to represent a region through the anonymous adjudication process.
