Jenilyn Brown

Jenilyn Brown was born and raised in Orange County, California where she grew up studying and enjoying dance.  She graduated from Brigham Young University in 2004 with her B.S. in Modern Dance.  While attending BYU, Jenilyn was a member of Dancensemble, a student choreography based company, and served the company as a choreographer and performer in the 2002-2003 season. She also had the opportunity to dance and perform in the Opening Ceremonies of the 2002 Paralympics and, in 2004, traveled through China teaching modern dance and performing in various venues.  Currently, Jenilyn is working on her M.F.A. degree at CSULB and would like to continue her career after graduate school as a teacher in a higher education program.  Also, she is presently a member of Nickerson-Rossi Dance, a local professional modern dance company that was established in 2008, and has performed with this company throughout San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles.  Jenilyn is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and holds a strong interest in dance science and kinesiology.
