Elizabeth P. Morse, an experienced teacher, choreographer, writer, and director of dance is presently teaching at Cal State University, Long Beach. Her early training was at the Royal Ballet, London, England where she was a scholarship student and later invited to join the staff. Her teaching and management skills were broadened when she created, owned and managed the West Coast Center of Performing Arts in Southern California, a school with over 500 students of Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Modern dance. Many of her students have gone on to college and professional dance careers, continuing their involvement in dance, choreography and teaching. Ms. Morse followed this with extensive teaching and choreography at the University of California, Irvine, giving direction to an opera and designing original pieces with strong story lines for concerts. Her background also includes choreography for many musical theater venues.
