Dori Levy , M.A. DTR Instructor

Dori Levy teaches Nonverbal Communication and Viewing Dance at CSULB. She received her AA degree in Theatre from Long Beach City College, BA degree in Dance from CSULB, MA degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from UCLA, and MA degree in Psychology from U.S. International University, San Diego. She is a Registered Dance Therapist in the American Dance Therapy Association and is certified in Labanotation by the Dance Notation Bureau, Inc. and the Center for Movement Research and Analysis. Ms. Levy is biographized in "Who's Who in the West" and in "Who's Who Among Human Service Professionals." She is author of Movement Awareness Program for Arthritis Patients and the Organizational Handbook for Dance Performance. Currently, she is Chair of the President's Commission on the Status of Women at CSULB.
