Position: Part-Time Lecturer

Effective Date: 
    Fall Semester: August 27, 2007– December 21, 2007
    Spring Semester: January 22, 2008–May 30, 2008

Minimum Qualifications:MA in Communication Studies or related field (by date of  appointment); demonstrated potential for effective teaching experience as appropriate; ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Communication Studies or related field; have area of
specialization to meet needs of department in public speaking, interpersonal communication, organizational
communication, argumentation, rhetoric and public address.

Duties:  Teach available courses (3 – 12 units) as needed.

Probable Salary Range:  $628.20-885.21 per 3-unit class, per month, based on qualifications.
