Target Specialty Products Scholarship

 AWARD COMMENCING FALL SEMESTER 2007:

$2,500

The TARGET SPECIALTY PRODUCTS SCHOLARSHIP is designed to reward a hardworking, well-rounded student. This scholarship is renewable annually through the application process. Students applying for the Target Scholarship should be:

 

1) involved in school and community activities and be working either full or part-time,

2) an undergraduate student majoring in Natural Sciences or Mathematics,

3) interested in exploring future careers that combine science and business.

Other Scholarship Requirements:

4) U.S. Citizenship

5) Letter of Recommendation from Faculty Member

6) Essay on how the scholarship will help you achieve your career goals (75-100 words)

7) Sophomore, Junior or Senior class standing

 Submitting Applications:

Completed applications should be submitted no later than Friday, April 27, 2007, to:

Kay Belletti, Department of Biological Sciences, Ph1-215 (or, go to PH1-109 and have your application placed in Ms. Belletti’s mailbox). The applications will then be turned over to the selection committee.

Target provides products and services to both the private and public sector in structural pest control, landscape construction and maintenance, golf course maintenance and turfgrass maintenance, production nursery, industrial vegetation management, aquatic, forestry and vector control.
