Lower Division: BIOL 111, 111L, 212, 212L, 213, 213L, 260; CHEM 111A,B; MATH 119A or 122, 119B or 123; PHYS 100A or 151, 100B or 152. The following courses do not meet any specific or elective requirements for this major: BIOL 153, 153L, 200, 200L, 204, 205, 205L, 207, 208; MICR 101 and 200.
Upper Division: 41 units including CHEM 322A,B and 323A,B; BIOL 340, 350, 370, 427, 439, 447, 450, 480.

Students may use 1-3 units of BIOL 496 towards the remaining eight units but only with prior permission of the advisor for this option.
