Faculty Consultations
Academic Computing Services offers one-on-one consulting. Staff members are available to provide statistical support, data and survey strategies, Internet-based surveys, BeachBoard, XanEdu, Turnitin and more. Faculty are welcome at any time. Calling or e-mailing the particular staff member will assure you a dedicated consultation.
Popular applications include:
- Statistics include SAS, SPSS, Minitab and S+.(faculty and graduate thesis students).
- Test Scoring: Scantron, and ParScore.
- Databases include FileMaker Pro, Oracle, and SQL.
- Web Authoring: Macromedia Dreamweaver.
- Web Programming: Web Objects, Perl, Java, and JavaScript.
- Digital Video and Audio: iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Vegas Video, Real Networks, and Sound Forge.
- Digital Photography and Graphics: Photoshop, Fireworks,
and Flash.
