Looking back on the virus alert logs for March, a good number of client computers were hit with the Adware.CDT threat. This adware does not only generate pop-ups but will also reduces the security settings for the Trusted Sites zone in Internet Explorer, and attempts to fraudulently install trusted publishers. Users could inadvertantly installl this adware manually or it could get installed as a component of another program.
