Autism Spectrum Disorders Added Authorization

Candidates seeking Added Authorizations in Special Education (AASE) in the specific subject area of Autism Spectrum Disorders must hold a valid Special Education Teaching Credential, or a Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential with a Special Class Authorization. The added authorization in Autism Spectrum Disorders authorizes the holder to provide special education services within that specific subject area and is limited to the grade and age levels authorized by the holder's prerequisite credential.
