Call for Papers for the Mini Track

"Intelligent Interface with Computers"

Computer technology has been developing with astonishing speed. Despite this, we still mostly rely on human hands in interacting with computers (e.g., keyboard, mouse). This mini track calls for papers on the issue of more intelligent ways of human-computer interaction. Recently, brain-computer interface and affective computing at some universities in America, Japan and Australia are brought to our attention. This track also calls for papers that discuss the issue as to if we are the master of computers. Computers are not incapable of understanding human emotion and thus, users are often unaided for their aversive emotion that may take place during their computer tasks. In particular, novice users are frequently frustrated with computers behaving differently from being ordered. This may be detrimental to positive and productive interactions between users and computers. Welcome are papers that address human emotion in the context of Internet.
