Disability Related Accommodations

Accommodations for Individuals with Disabilities 

Accommodations for individuals with disabilities are available upon request during Commencement ceremonies. Accommodation requests may be submitted by May 1, 2018 through the online request form.

Parking: G11 and G12, accessible via Merriam Way, will be reserved for guests displaying a state-issued or temporary disability parking permit. Guests can view the campus map for more information.

Seating: All ceremony sites are wheelchair accessible. An usher will direct you to an accessible seating area throughout the venue. The majority of seating at Commencement will be in direct sunlight. Accessible seating will be limited to those with disability-related needs and one companion. 

Viewing: Commencement ceremonies will be projected on large screens for visibility and will be captioned. The ceremony will also be live streamed and captioned in the Pyramid for the convenience of guests. Please note, individual names will not be captioned.

Sign language Interpreters: Sign language interpreters will be present at each ceremony.
