Heads Up, Grads! Check-In & Procession Details for Graduation

Check-In & Grad Pass:

Location: Gate 4 (Stadium signage and Commencement staff will be there to guide you).

Timing: Arrive 90 minutes before your ceremony's published start time on the Ceremony information page here.

What to Do:

• Check in with Commencement staff.
• Pick up your MarchingOrder Grad Pass. This will include Ceremony information:
  • Name recording barcode (Important! Don't lose it! This is how your name gets announced and displayed.)
  • Email address (photographers will use this to contact you about commencement photos)

Procession Formation

Line-up: 

• Inside Gate 4 on the Terrace ramp and concourse. Signage and staff will direct you.
• By academic rank (Doctoral first, followed by Master's candidates, then undergraduates)
• With your department (optional - you can process with whomever you prefer)

Instructions: Listen carefully to the instructions from Commencement officials.

Important Note: There is no rehearsal for graduates.
