Systems Design

Systems design is the process or art of defining systems and interactions within complex systems. In the context of computer systems,  it is used for defining hardware and software architecture, components, modules, interfaces, and data for a computer/communications system to satisfy specified requirements. There is overlap with Systems Analysis and Integration. Systems can be in many diverse areas such as infrastructure, robotics, biomedical, control, enterprise, logistics, space, etc.

New areas of our research include hardware/software co-design, SOC, SIP, NOC methodologies
