Dr. Asgari received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and conducted biomedical data analysis as a PostDoc fellow at UCLA Medical School. Following the completion of her PostDoc training, she served as a research faculty in UCLA’s neurosurgery department.

Dr. Asvapathanagul received her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from University of California at Irvine, where she also instructed wastewater biotechnology and advance biological treatment processes. She has extensive experience designing water treatment and reclamation plants.

Dr. Mozumdar received his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Before joining CSULB, he was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Nguyen received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla, and is licensed in the State of California as a professional and structural engineer. Prior to becoming a CECEM faculty member in 1984, Dr. Nguyen was a principal reactor engineer for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Torabzadeh received his Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from USC. He has been an MAE faculty member since 1986, and has worked as an engineer and consultant for several national and international petroleum companies and government agencies.
