Mesa Schools Program (MSP)

The MSP Program at California State University, Long Beach provides Middle and High School students opportunities for growth and improvement in the areas of Math and Science. We spark interest within these fields by hands-on experimentation and real-life examples of theories. This in turn encourages exploration of Mathematics and Science based careers. Additionally, students are given the opportunity to meet and speak with industry professionals and are given individual guidance regarding academic coursework by trained counselors.

CSULB MESA Schools Program Mission Statement:

To increase the academic achievement and educational expectations of low income and disadvantaged students; improve the pedagogical proficiencies of their teachers; and grow the knowledge and empowerment of their parents and guardians.
