Year-End Awards Banquet - 2006
At the end of the academic
year, we invite parents, 8th grade students and graduating high
school seniors to our campus and host an awards banquet honoring
outstanding student achievement, participation, and leadership.
In addition to the traditional trophies and certificates, this
year, graduating seniors were awarded a MESA sash to commemorate
their hard work and dedication. These sashes recognize their accomplishments
and could be worn during their high school graduation to signify
them. Furthermore, outstanding seniors were rewarded with a Texas
Instrument TI-83 Graphing Calculator and outstanding 8th graders
were presented with a Texas Instrument TI-30 Scientific Calculator.
These gifts are given as an incentive for the students to continue
their studies in the fields of Mathematics, Engineering, and Science.
