The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at California State University,
Long Beach offers a variety of programs to meet societal needs.

The MAE Department maintains a close relationship with local industries.
Through our affiliation with the industries, the department receives support
to enhance our educational programs and structures its curriculum to the
needs of industries. The department's industrial relations lead to direct
and immediate benefits for our students in the form of scholarships, summer
internship positions, and employment upon graduation.
