Profile:

Dr. Min-Ten Jahn received his MA and PhD in Solid State Physics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In 1986 Dr. Jahn joined the faculty of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at California State University, Long Beach where he is currently a professor. Dr. Jahn's specialty and major areas of research are; Mechanical properties, microstructures and processing of metals and alloys, Failure analysis of engineering materials, Alloy design, and Electron microscopy. Dr. Jahn has more than 50 scholarly publications and many papers presented at conferences and published in proceedings. He is a member of ASEE and ASM International.
