Job Description/Responsibilities:

TFP is seeking a full-time mechanical engineer to train on quoting for all RFQs submitted. This entails reading blueprints, verifying dimensions and callouts are feasible for process being quoted; work directly with customers on early development of parts; be liaison between all departments including sales, production, and quality, as well as customers' direct source to coordinate as new parts are produced and/or existing ones are revised; other tasks involved which candidate will receive on-the-job training for.

Requirements:

  • MasterCAM X
  • Must know how to use calipers/measuring equipment
  • Knowledgeable/experience in plastics (either thermoforming and/or injection molding) a HUGE plus
  • Prior related work experience is desired
  • Ability to perform basic office tasks (e.g. Word, Excel, CAD, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience working well in a team environment
  • Candidate must be committed to long-term position with TFP
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is desired, but not necessary
  • Eligibility for full-time employment within the U.S. on a permanent basis
