Space Systems Engineering (3) Prerequisite: MAE 381. Systems engineering approach to spacecraft design. Spacecraft systems engineering and spacecraft and power subsystem. Radiative and conductive heat transfer. Thermal control subsystem. Telecommunications. Command and data handling. Team projects including spacecraft subsystem design are assigned. Written reports and oral presentations are required. (Lecture-Problems 3 hours) Letter grade only (A-F).
