*471. Analysis and Design of Machine Components (3)
- Prerequisites: MAE 375 and MAE 361 (or MAE 374).
- Application of the principles of mechanics and physical properties of materials to the proportioning of
machine elements, including consideration of function, safety, production and economic factors. Group
and/or individual design projects of mechanical systems and/or subsystems.
- (Lecture-problems 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours.) Letter grade only (A-F).
