Profile:

Dr. Hassan Mohamed-Nour received the BS and MS degrees from Assiut University, Egypt and Ph.D. from University of Southern California all in Electrical Engineering. His research areas of interest include high-voltage insulation systems, computer applications in power systems, analysis of power grid stability, energy conversion, renewable energy systems and power quality analyses. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award (CSULB, 2004), Most Valuable Professor Award (COE-CSULB, 2003), and the Outstanding Scholastic Contribution Award (AESB) 1993, 1998, and 2002.
