220. Materials Sciences for Electrical Engineers (3)
- Prerequisites: MATH 224 and EE 210.
- Basic principles of optical and wave propagation. Introduction to quantum electronics. Fundamental aspects of photonics and materials sciences and their relevance to solid state electronic circuits.
- (Lecture-problems 3 hours) Letter grade only (A-F).
