  • Prerequisites: MATH 224 and EE 210.
  • Basic principles of optical and wave propagation. Introduction to quantum electronics. Fundamental aspects of photonics and materials sciences and their relevance to solid state electronic circuits.
  • (Lecture-problems 3 hours) Letter grade only (A-F).
