The Department is equipped with modern laboratory equipment designed to prepare students for a career as a chemical engineer. Students have an opportunity to use the lab equipment to study the many different processes listed.
This piece of equipment is an industrial-scale filter that can separate particles from an aqueous slurry to produce filter cake. Upon drying of filter cake, dry powder is the final product.
