Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission the graduate applicant must:

• have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution,
• have been in good standing at the last institution attended,
• possess a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.7 for the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) attempted, and
• optionally, submit score of the general Graduate Record Examination (GRE). It is highly recommended that International Students and also those students with a GPA below 3.0 submit these general GRE scores.

Students may be admitted on a conditional basis, subject to the requirement that they remedy any deficiencies subsequent to admission. Check prerequisite courses for your option:

• Prerequisite: Option in Computer Science

Applicants who hold a bachelor's degree from an institution where English is not the principle language of instruction must demonstrate their English language competency. For Information about this process please review the International Educational Studies English Language Requirements.

Letters of recommendation are not required.
