CECS 478./578. Introduction to Computer Security (3)
Prerequisite: CECS 323, 328, and one course selected from 472, 474, 476.
Controlling the risk of computer security. Security threats and vulnerabilities in the development and use of computer systems. Tools and controls that can reduce or block these threats. Law, privacy and ethics. Additional projects required for CECS 578.
(Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours.) Letter grade only (A-F).
