Real-time multi-tasking systems, schedulers, kernels, and operating systems for embedded processors. Advanced I/O technologies - CAM, I2C, Ethernet. Embedded Internet applications. Polling vs. interrupt handling. Lab implementation of embedded designs and hardware-assisted debugging. (Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours.) Letter grade only (A-F).
