Analysis of computational errors; iterative methods for finding roots and solving systems of equations. Numerical techniques for evaluating integrals, derivatives, and solving differential equations. Emphasis on numerical methods as used in computer modeling. (Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours.) Letter grade only (A-F).
