205. Computer Systems and Programming (1)

  • Corequisite: CEM 205L.
  • Overview of computer systems, hardware, and software development. Hardware topics include updated coverage of the central processing unit and memory, input/output devices, storage mechanism, and communication technology. Software topics include programming and languages, operating systems, and systems analysis and design.
  • (Lecture – discussion, exercise, 1 unit) Letter grade only (A-F). Same as ET 205.
