Welcome to CSULB and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM)! We are excited to help you, the newest members of our CNSM community, acclimate to life at The Beach. A smooth transition to college life will encourage your achievement and success during your time at CSULB.

Did you sign up for Science & Math Safari to Success?

Event Date: Tuesday, June 25, 2013

What is Science & Math Safari to Success?

  • An opportunity to learn what is required of science and math majors
  • A chance to learn what programs and opportunities are available in the College of Natural Sciences & Math
  • An opportunity to meet CNSM faculty, staff, and administrators
  • A chance to receive academic advising for first semester classes
  • An opportunity to meet current CNSM students.

*Please note: The Chemistry Placement Test, and Math Diagnostic Placement Tests require separate registration.

Did you sign up for SOAR?

Event Date: Wednesday, June 26, 2013

Science and math freshmen are STRONGLY encouraged to attend the only exclusive CNSM Freshmen SOAR session offered this summer on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. ALL NEW STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND SOAR. If that SOAR date is full, we recommend either June 27 or June 28 (the same week).

To Register: Visit the SOAR website to begin signing up for SOAR Sessions. Space is limited.

Parent Orientation Program (POP)

Event Date: TBA

Parents and family members are invited to attend the Parent Orientation Program. This program is designed to answer common questions parents have about their student's transition to college. The program will feature speakers from a variety of campus resources.
