American Studies Student Activities

The American Studies Student Association is a student organization that plans extracurricular programs and events related to American Studies. For information contact Brett Mizelle, director of American Studies.

Every semester American Studies students are invited to go on a field trip to important cultural sites in Los Angeles. For example, on March 22, 2008, a group of students in American Studies and History took the Blue Line for a walking tour of Olvera Street, downtown Los Angeles and the Watts Towers. In Fall 2009 students will visit The Museum of Jurassic Technology in Culver City. Stay tuned for more details.
