Africana Studies Student Association Panel Discussion

To celebrate their 45th Anniversary, the Africana Studies Department at CSULB and CSUDH, will present a panel discussion on, “Ferguson, Police Violence and Racial Justice: Critical Concerns of Black Men and Women”. The panelists for CSULB include: Amethyst Jefferson-Roberts, Xavier Rodgers, and Professor Natalie Sartin. The panelists for CSUDH include: Myia Williams, Tedford Hope, and Dr. Justin Gammage. They will discuss important issues in solidarity with the struggle of the African American community of Ferguson. The panelist’s discussion will be monitored by two CSULB Africana Studies professors, including Renee Ssensalo and Dr. Maulana Karenga.
