The White Rose Exhibition

November 4, 2012

From June 1942 through February 1943, the White Rose student movement promoted active opposition against Adolf Hitler in leaflets and graffiti. Six leaders of the movement were executed on February 22, 1943. “Let freedom live” were the final words of student leader Hans Scholl. The White Rose student movement’s sixth leaflet, known as the “Manifesto of the Students of Munich,” was airdropped over Germany in June 1943 by Allied planes.

The exhibit is presented by White Rose Foundation e.V. of Munich, Germany.
