Long Beach Jewish Film Festival: Film Screening — "Life in Stills"

October 18, 2012

The documentary film Life in Stills chronicles the efforts of 96-year-old Miriam Weissenstein as she, working with her grandson Ben, attempts to save her late husband’s photo shop that contains nearly one-million negatives documenting the history of the state of Israel. Despite the generation gap and many conflicts, Ben and Miriam embark on a heart-wrenching journey composed of many humorous and touching moments: a journey that requires love, courage, and compassion.
