Dr. Jessica Cobb Presents “Taking Care of Disadvantage: Intersections of Race and Class in Faculty Culture”

[ February 13, 2014; 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. ] Come see one of the finalists for the Department of Sociology’s tenure-track position, Dr. Jessica Cobb from University of California, Berkeley, present a lecture titled “Taking Care of Disadvantage: Intersections of Race and Class in Faculty Culture” this Thursday, February 13.

The lecture will take place in PSY-232 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Guest Lecture: “Moral Personhood in a Globalizing World”

[ February 13, 2014; 11:00 am . ] Come see one of the candidates for the Department of Human Development’s tenure-track position, PhD candidate Jessica McKenzie from Clark University, who will present her lecture titled “Moral Personhood in a Globalizing World: Dyadic Perspectives in Rural and Urban Thailand.”

The lecture will be held on February 13 at 11 a.m. in LA5-247.
