Documentary Film Screening: “The Portraitist” (Irek Dobrowolski 2006)

Department of Chicano and Latino Studies: Cafe Cultura

Fall 2012 Russian Film Series: “The Woman with the 5 Elephants”

[ November 8, 2012; 7:00 pm . ] The Russian documentary film The Woman with the 5 Elephants (2009, 93 min.), directed by Vadim Jendreyko, is a profile of Svetlana Geier who was the pre-eminent translator of Dostoyevsky’s novels into German.
