Greetings,
I want to take this occasion to introduce myself. I am Gerry Riposa, the new Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. Our College is excited about this new publication which is dedicated to sharing some of the numerous activities our students, faculty, and alumni are undertaking. As you will see, we have a lot going on in the College. We are especially proud to present some examples of alumni and friends of the College contributing to various gift-giving opportunities. Their generous support plays an integral role in providing our students and programs with much needed additional support to do extraordinary things, which not only increases the value of current degrees but also increases the value of those earned by our alumni. Without question, California State University, Long Beach continues to climb in quality of education and ranking, but we are not satisfied. We know we can do more and soar higher. We hope you will join us on this journey.
