TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIPS IN SPANISH

A number of Teaching Assistantships are available for qualified students in the Spanish M.A. Program.  New applicants for Teaching Assistantships must have been accepted into the Program and must present a letter of application, a resume, a complete set of transcripts, and arrange for three confidential letters of recommendation to be sent to the Graduate Coordinator.  In addition, MA students interested in teaching have to enroll in SPAN 601 (Methodologies of Foreign Language Teaching) during the Fall semester.  TAs must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate units.  For inquiries about the TA program, consult the Language Coordinator, Dr. Markus Muller ((562) 985-4323.
