Subject: CSULB Production of Monteverdi's Orfeo: Event Series
The CSULB Music Department, the Graziadio Center for Italian Studies,
and the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies are pleased to
present a series of events around the CSULB Opera Institute's
performance of Monteverdi's Orfeo in April.
We would like to invite you and your classes to these events and the
performance itself.
All events are free unless otherwise noted.
The first event, sponsored by the Center for Medieval and Renaissance
Studies, takes place on Monday:
William F. Prizer (Professor of Music, Santa Barbara), "The Mantua of
Orfeo."
