Program Description

The Department of Romance, German, Russian Languages & Literatures is pleased to invite applications to its Master's Program in French. Our graduate program in French ensures that students acquire a broad knowledge of French as well as Francophone literatures and cultures. Courses cover a wide range of topics, both century- and theme-based, as well as literary theory. The MA in French at CSULB prepares students to continue graduate studies in a doctoral program or to pursue the career of their choice using their training language, literature, and culture in teaching, publishing, translation, journalism, and many other fields.
